The highly perfumed nose presents intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits such as cherries in syrup, strawberries, and figs over a spicy back that recalls red and black pepper along with notes of fresh tobacco and cr�me de cassis that meld very well with the aromas of coffee and dark chocolate that appear after a few minutes in the glass.�The generous palate has very nicely rounded tannins that deliver a central nerve that lends structure to the wine along with a sense of sweetness on the mid-palate that makes this an elegant and juicy wine with very good persistence.
